Disposable N95 masks are used by health care providers to ensure that no bacteria or infections are passed between you and your patients.
An N95 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles.
The ‘N95’ designation means that when subjected to careful testing, the respirator blocks at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) test particles. If properly fitted, the filtration capabilities of N95 respirators exceed those of face masks. However, even a properly fitted N95 respirator does not completely eliminate the risk of illness or death.
Oxygen Administration Provider
This course teaches how to operate various oxygen devices as well as how to respond and treat respiratory emergencies.
Students will learn about oxygen cylinder use and maintenance. There is also training on the use of the V-Vac Suction unit.
AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION (AED)
Mere seconds can mean the difference between life and death for an individual suffering life threatening cardiac arrhythmia. The AED is crucial in improving the odds of survival by analyzing a victim’s heart rate and then determining whether an electric shock should be administered, which can bring an individual’s heartbeat out of arrhythmia and back into a normal rhythm. KR Lifesaving has partnered with Perri-med for the sale of Defib-tech Lifeline AED.
KR Lifesaving provides Public Access Defibrillation (AED) Responder courses for the workplace under the Medical Direction of Dr. Fedoruk.
Defibrillation Provider Course
This course provides instruction on the Anatomy of the Heart and Conductive System, Shockable and Non-Shockable Rythms, Care and Maintenance of the Defibrillator and Training on any AED Model.
